REVIEW: Joy-Con Wheel - Set of 2 (Nintendo Switch)

REVIEW: Joy-Con Wheel - Set of 2 (Nintendo Switch)

I love my Nintendo Switch and I love Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but I don't love the the teeny, tiny SL and SR triggers on the Joy-Cons. I blame my freakishly big hands (or more specifically my long fingers) and not Nintendo for this, so I usually play in Portable Mode or use a Pro Controller when in TV Mode. When friends come over to game, I have more than enough Joy-Cons for a full, 4-player GP, but my friends would complain that the only reason I left them in the dust was that they were handicapped with kid-sized controllers.

(WHAT IS THIS? A CONTROLLER FOR ANTS?)

To level the playing field, I decided to pick up the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con Wheels so that they wouldn't have any excuses moving forward. They definitely give the Joy-Cons more heft and are more ergonomic to hold, but most importantly, they have two HUGE, springy triggers that give the player better control of their Drift and Items. Aside from that, my 3-year old niece and 5-year old nephew love using them since it gives the Joy-Cons the aesthetic novelty of a toy.
